Design Thinking

What is Design Thinking (DT)?
DT is a globally used and proven method based on “Customer Centred Design”. Here, the focus is on problems, benefits and new solutions for the customer. Almost 100 different tools are used and combined individually depending on the suitability in the problem and solution area. A Design Thinking training is therefore a value-creating investment in employees and company development. Today, almost every start-up uses DT as an agile working method.
Design Thinking is part of our KEY VALUES Agile Circle – a “scalable infrastructure” that develops competencies in a targeted and needs-oriented way and in which appreciation, individual learning and value propositions are thought of in a new and different way and implemented in a concrete way.
What does Design Thinking involve?
Design thinking is based on the assumption that problems can be solved better if people from different disciplines work together in an environment that promotes creativity and jointly develop a question (challenge). The needs and (intrinsic) motives of people are taken into account in order to develop concepts on this basis, which in turn are tested several times.
The approach is based on the work of designers, which is understood as a combination of understanding, observation, ideation, refinement, execution and learning.
Participants not only learn about the method, but can also work on and solve a concrete, current challenge from your company in terms of content via DT. This makes this training doubly interesting and valuable.
What are the advantages of a Design Thinking training?
DT has a number of fundamental advantages for employees and companies:
- Customer-oriented and new solutions are developed with a high level of acceptance.
- DT creates a deep understanding of the core problem without jumping to old solutions.
- The solutions are better and more innovative
Transparent visualisations ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and common understanding - The development of prototypes makes ideas and concepts tangible, understandable and testable for an implementation decision
